Finding a place to eat locally is simple in Trincomalee because there are so many street food vendors and neighbourhood eateries. Our favourite breakfast spot that we went to almost daily was called Arafa Hotel Trincomalee.
Here you can simply choose from all the premade dishes from the front and they will bring them to your table. They also have the best Sri Lankan tea in Trincomalee made the traditional way.
10. Indulge in Kings Burger
In the heart of Trincomalee lies the fast food joint known as King’s Burger. A knockoff of Burger King, at King’s burger you can get burgers, fries, milkshakes, and they even have really nice fried chicken. It is well recognised for its delicious burgers created with top-quality ingredients, and if your craving a western style meal while in Trincomalee this is the place you want to visit.
Both locals and tourists frequent King’s Burger, which is well-known for its reasonable prices and central location. Be sure to try their thick shakes which were our favourite.
